Jimmy Tuition specialises in Secondary Mathematics (Sec1 to Sec5 Maths and Sec3 to Sec4 A-Maths) and O-Level Chemistry tuition (Sec3 to Sec4 Pure Chemistry and Chemistry for Combined Science) in Singapore. Our tuition lessons focus on building strong subject foundations, improving conceptual understanding and developing effective examination techniques to help students work towards better academic results.
2. How much teaching eperience does Jimmy have?
With a Master Degree of Science from NUS, Mr. Jimmy has 15 years of tuition experience in Secondary Chemistry and Maths, helping students overcome learning difficulties, strengthen their understanding and improve their examination performance.
Over the years, Jimmy has worked with students of different abilities, including students who initially struggled with Mathematics or Chemistry and needed additional guidance to achieve their academic goals.

Over the past 15 years, Mr. Jimmy has helped many students improve their grades, including students who progressed from F9 to A1 within 3 to 6 months.
However, every student has a different starting point and learning pace. Results depend on factors such as existing knowledge, attendance, practice, effort and the time available before examinations. We do not guarantee a particular grade or improvement timeline.
5. My child is weak in Mathematics or Chemistry. Is Jimmy Tuition suitable?
Yes. Students who struggle with a subject often need help identifying and addressing gaps in their foundational knowledge.

2. What is the difference betwen group tuition and 1-to-1 tuition?

1-to-1 tuition provides individualised attention, allowing lessons to focus more closely on a student’s specific weaknesses, learning pace and academic goals.
The most suitable arrangement depends on your child’s needs, learning preferences and budget.
3. How much are the tuition fees?
Our current tuition rates are:
● Group tuition: S$40 per hour ( 2 hrs per lesson)
● 1-to-1 tuition: S$85 per hour (2 hrs per lesson)
